Summer Scheduled Maintenance: Gearing Up Machinery in Our Anniversary Year

This 2026 is proving to be an exceptional year for Rutperfil, and as every August, it is time for our scheduled summer plant shutdown.

Celebrating our 50th anniversary as manufacturers of technical curtain hardware systems is not just a source of pride: it is a daily commitment to self-imposed high standards. During these first few months, we have taken on a massive volume of work to serve all our clients with the excellence they require. This has been driven by your trust in our new catalogs, jointly overcoming the incredibly high demand rates of today’s market. Furthermore, this has been the first year we have introduced made-to-measure finished curtains, with fabrics included, into our portfolio.

This historic milestone compels us to maintain an impeccable production output, absolute precision in every component, and a response capacity tailored to the scale of our clients’ major contract projects.

To continue delivering the level of quality, service, and reliability that defines our brand, the time has come for a strategic pause. We would like to inform you that Rutperfil’s facilities, manufacturing plant, and headquarters in Vilassar will be closed for holidays from Monday, August 3rd to Sunday, August 23rd (both inclusive).

Why Do We Shut Down?

In the manufacturing industry, shutting down doesn’t mean stalling; it means retooling to come back stronger.

• ⚙️ Industrial Maintenance and Calibration: We will utilize the last week of August to prep for the upcoming operational period. This includes the cleaning and calibration of our injection molds, overhauling the injection molding department, and upgrading our warehouse management systems. This ensures that upon our return, every hardware component will continue to meet the strict millimetric tolerances required for your on-site installations, so you only have to worry about receiving the goods and installing them.

• 🔋 Human Value: Rest and Recognition: State-of-the-art technology and machinery are useless without the talent of the people operating them. We want to take this opportunity to thank the entire Rutperfil workforce for their hard work. From the shop-floor machine operators and the tooling and engineering team, to the warehouse and logistics managers, all the way to the administration and customer service departments.

Operational Planning and Return

We will resume operations on Monday, August 24th, with the goal of returning at 100% capacity to tackle the final four months of the year, which promise to be just as demanding.

All emails, quotes, and hardware component requests submitted via our website or email during these weeks will be securely logged into our system. Upon our return on Monday, August 24th, our commercial and technical teams will process every request strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
